Our vision : MAKING DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father

and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

 Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)

Connecting - Proclaiming - Serving - Growing

Connecting : Establishing and maintaining relationships between the church community and the secular community.

Proclaiming : Recognising and taking opportunities to tell others about Jesus and his church in West Ryde. Proclaiming also by our deeds and attitudes in shunning activities that would not bring glory and honour to God.

Serving : By being involved in the ministry of the church, using our gifts for God and others in the church. By loving one another, sacrificially, being mindful of others situations and needs.

Growing : Providing the means (with Community Groups, training and 1 to 1 discipleship) for others to establish themselves so that they can start connecting others into church. To challenge those who are 'marking time' in their faith to move outside their "comfort zone" in order to avoid stagnation of their faith.

It was he who gave some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,

to prepare God's people for works of service,

so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of

the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV)
